A leading company in the healthcare field is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Assistant to support research within the Department of Neurology. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and experience in research, particularly in performing lab procedures and data management. This position offers a chance to contribute significantly to clinical research while working in collaboration with various outpatient clinics.
This is a part time position
The clinical research assistant will provide assistance in support of clinical research studies within the Department of Neurology in the Division of Neuromuscular Disorders in partnership with the College of Medicine Center for Clinical Research Management; assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs behavioral or diagnostic testing; assists with collection maintenance amp; reporting of clinical research data.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelors Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience.
Skills or Experience Desired
Experience in research capacity desired; knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired; experience in phlebotomy may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired; computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired.
