Job summary

Shirley Ryan AbilityLab seeks a Research Assistant to support literature reviews, data collection and management, and participant interviews across hospital, clinic and home settings. You will help recruit participants, obtain consents, and maintain data files for NIH-supported projects.

The role involves coordinating interviews, coding qualitative data, and generating tables and graphics for presentations. Proficiency in MS Office and statistics software is desired.

Qualifications

• Requires four-year college education with related work exposure.
• Familiarity with medical or health services research terminology is helpful.
• Experience with data collection and management in research settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit participants and obtain informed consent.
• Schedule and conduct hospital and home interviews.
• Collect, code, transcribe and manage data across settings.
• Prepare tables, graphs and charts for presentations and reports.
• Maintain documentation and data inventory for study participants.
• Assist in literature searches and dissemination of results.
