Job summary

ECN Operating LLC is seeking a Research Assistant to support clinical studies, handling administrative tasks, data entry, and participant coordination under supervision. You will assist with study materials, regulatory binders, and consent processes to help ensure data quality and participant safety.

This role requires familiarity with GCP, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements, plus strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a health sciences, biology, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Healthcare or research setting experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical trials, GCP, HIPAA, and human subjects research regulations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing study materials, source documents, and regulatory binders.
• Support participant screening, recruitment, and scheduling per protocols.
• Maintain accurate participant logs and track enrollment progress.
• Ensure study areas, supplies, and equipment are organized and ready for visits.
• Accurately record data into eCRFs or databases; ensure data confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Support document management, filing, and archival per regulatory requirements.
• Greet and assist study participants during visits and assist with informed consent process.
• Escort participants to testing areas and assist staff with noninvasive procedures.
• Follow Good Clinical Practice and institutional policies at all times.
• Support compliance with IRB, sponsor, and regulatory requirements; participate in audits and reviews.
