Job summary

Great-Lakes-Gastroenterology in Mentor, OH is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant to support ongoing studies. You will perform literature reviews, collect and manage data, maintain documents, and assist coordinators with day-to-day activities.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of related experience, comfort with venipuncture and lab processing, and initiative to work independently while upholding research integrity and participant confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable performing experiments alone without close guidance or supervision.
  • Desire to perform accurate and ethical research to achieve results for the study.
  • Efficient in venipuncture and processing labs.
  • Comfortable using sponsor acquired equipment.
  • Comfortable with recruitment of patients is a must.
  • Strong use of Excel spreadsheets.

  • Maintain accurate research records while safeguarding confidentiality.
  • Summarize interviews and research findings.
  • Ensure Coordinators have timely access to all data.
  • Request and obtain equipment and supplies for projects.
  • Prepare and update research-related website content and materials.
  • Attend project and research team meetings.
  • Assist in summarizing project outcomes and documentation.
  • Support preparation of articles, presentations, and reports.
