Job summary

SQRL in Covina, CA is hiring a Research Assistant to support patient visits, study procedures, and site activities. You will work closely with Clinical Research Coordinators to ensure smooth trial operations.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of clinical research experience, is comfortable working with patients, and possesses hands-on skills such as phlebotomy, EKG/ECG, and IV administration. This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity

Qualifications

• Two years of clinical research experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Hands-on clinical skills (phlebotomy, EKG/ECG, vital signs, injections, IV) strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with GCP, FDA, ICH and compliance requirements.
• Experience with electronic source documentation or clinical research software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; knowledge of medical terminology and labs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical trial visits and procedures, including vital signs, EKG/ECGs, phlebotomy, injections, IVs, and other protocol-related activities as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate source documentation, study records, and case report forms while following study protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Support the informed consent process and help ensure patients understand study participation requirements.
• Assist with patient recruitment, scheduling, and enrollment activities to help the site achieve study goals.
• Coordinate study supplies, laboratory kits, specimens, and other materials needed for clinical trials.
• Communicate closely with coordinators, investigators, sponsors, CROs, and other members of the research team while maintaining patient confidentiality.

POSITION

Our client is hiring a Research Assistant to join its onsite team in Covina. This position will work closely with Clinical Research Coordinators and other site staff to support patient visits, clinical procedures, study documentation, recruitment, and day-to-day trial activities.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of clinical research experience and is comfortable working directly with patients in a fast-paced research environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
