Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation seeks a Clinical Rehab Liaison to cultivate referral relationships within a designated geographic territory and support patient assessments. You will drive growth through hospital referrals by building strong connections with physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives.

The role requires active clinical licensure and CPR certification, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Qualifications

• Requires current state professional clinical licensure and CPR certification.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• Two or more years of clinical or healthcare experience preferred.
• One or more years in nurse liaison or healthcare sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop census based on strategic goals within an assigned territory.
• Cultivate strong relationships with physicians, nurses, discharge planners, case managers and payer representatives, prioritizing face-to-face connections.
• Aid in streamlining the referral-to-admission process.
• Educate community, referral sources and physicians on hospital programs and services.
• Utilize market analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Respond to and overcome admission barriers and follow up on admissions variables.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations about services and outcomes.
