Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation seeks a Clinical Rehab Liaison with an active RN/PT/OT or SLP license to cultivate referral relationships, manage an assigned territory, and complete patient assessments. The role drives growth through patient referrals and strong stakeholder engagement.

You will work to educate physicians, nurses, discharge planners and payers, while expanding our hospital programs in the community and improving admission flow and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Active state professional licensure and CPR certification.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of clinical or healthcare tech experience.
• 1+ year in nurse liaison or healthcare sales preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Solid knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop a business census based on strategic goals.
• Cultivate strong relationships within an assigned territory, prioritizing face-to-face connections.
• Aid in streamlining the referral-to-admission process.
• Educate community, referral sources and physicians on hospital programs and services.
• Utilize market analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Respond to admission barriers and follow up on admissions variables.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations about our services and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license in the state where employed and an acceptable driving record according to company policy.
• Current state professional clinical licensure and CPR certification required.
• Preferably, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Two or more years of clinical or healthcare tech experience preferred.
• One or more years in nurse liaison or successful healthcare sales preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis.
