The Clinical Registered Nurse has the responsibility for supporting the goals and objectives of the care enhancement program by providing high quality telephonic support in an appropriate, efficient and cost-effective manner while ensuring high quality care. The Clinical Registered Nurse coordinates with the Primary Care Provider and all other members of the healthcare team to support appropriate total healthcare management and ensure cost effective, appropriate resource utilization and quality outcomes. The Clinical Registered Nurse is also responsible for early identification of those assigned participants who are at risk for increasing acuity, and for intervening with the participants and their Primary Care Provider according to the disease management program intervention guidelines.
A Clinical Registered Nurse is supervised by an Operations Manager (OM). All Sharecare clinicians are required to participate in the orientation and to take the pre and posttests to review competency during orientation. Yearly competency test is required for all Sharecare clinicians.
