Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling.
• Consult with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patients.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust their nutritional plans as needed.
• Provide nutritional education and counseling for patients and families on lifestyle modifications.
• Participate in interdisciplinary healthcare teams providing comprehensive patient care.
• Document and maintain accurate records regarding patient services and progress.
• Expertise in nutritional analysis and personalized meal planning.
• Ability to communicate complex nutritional information to non-specialists.
• Proficiency in the use of dietary analysis software and patient management systems.
• Strong interpersonal and counseling skills.
• Familiarity with the latest nutrition research and potential implications for patient care.
