Job summary

Valley-Wide Health Systems is seeking a Clinical Quality Registered Nurse to perform direct nursing care, patient education, and quality improvement work across Las Animas and Ordway locations. You will assess patients, triage, and coordinate care within Valley-Wide protocols to support better outcomes for our diverse community.

The role requires an ADN (BSN preferred), CO RN license, and BLS certification, with 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Current Colorado RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessments, triage, treatment, patient education, nurse visits, and direct nursing services within RN scope and Valley-Wide protocols.
• Identify patient needs, coordinate follow-up care, and collaborate with providers and care team.
• Coordinate preventive and chronic care, referrals, medications, and hospital transitions.
