The role emphasizes patient safety, root cause analyses, and collaboration with Nursing, Medical Staff, and Clinical Services on high‑risk events.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance, quality, or risk.
• Hospital experience, behavioral health preferred.
• Experience with incident investigations and RCA methodology.
• Ability to interpret clinical documentation and apply regulatory standards.
• Knowledge of CMS, Joint Commission, and state survey readiness.

Responsibilities

• Investigate clinical incidents including self-harm, elopement, medication events, and restraints.
• Perform root cause analyses (RCA, FMEA) and identify corrective actions.
• Analyze incident data; develop dashboards and risk profiles.
• Monitor CMS, Joint Commission, and state regulatory compliance.
• Manage complaint and grievance intake and CMS-aligned investigation.
• Present findings to leadership and committees.
• Collaborate with Nursing, Medical Staff, and Clinical Services on high-risk events.
• Support survey readiness and mock tracers.
