Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Clinical Quality Leader I to join our quality, safety, and performance improvement initiative. You will define measures, analyze data, and lead improvement activities using DMAIC, Lean, and other methods to enhance patient care and safety across our system.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with a clinical background, or a Master’s Degree in a healthcare related field.
2+ years of work experience in a healthcare setting, with 1+ year of quality, patient safety, or relevant experience.
Medical record review/abstraction experience.
Knowledge of quality measurement tools (RCA, FMEA, DMAIC) and NM Toolkit.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with operational and medical leadership to identify, develop and implement communication, education, and process solutions to engage staff and improve processes and outcomes.
Coordinate peer review and data analysis to identify potential quality issues and opportunities for improvement in patient care services.
Lead or participate in committees and improvement projects with measurable results.
Develop and refine quality measurement approaches and contribute to organizational learning.
