Job summary

Varco Home Health & Hospice is seeking a detail-oriented QA Nurse to review clinical documentation produced by field clinicians in Kinnser (WellSky) to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, payer, and company requirements. The ideal candidate will have home health experience and knowledge of Medicare requirements, with experience in OASIS.

This fast-paced role requires strong time management and the ability to review a high volume of charts while maintaining accuracy.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Knowledge of Traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage.
• Strong understanding of home health clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation in Kinnser (WellSky) for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure documentation meets CMS, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, state, and accreditation requirements.
• Review OASIS assessments, skilled nursing notes, therapy documentation, and other clinical records.
• Identify documentation errors and communicate needed corrections to clinicians.
• Manage a high volume of charts while meeting daily deadlines and productivity expectations.
• Prioritize assignments and follow up on outstanding documentation.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Position Overview

Varco Home Health & Hospice is looking for a detail-oriented QA Nurse to join our team. This position is responsible for reviewing clinical documentation completed by our field clinicians in Kinnser (WellSky) to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, payer, and company requirements.

The ideal candidate will have home health experience, knowledge of Traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage requirements, and experience with OASIS. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong time management, the ability to multitask, and the ability to review a high volume of charts while maintaining accuracy.
