Job summary

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• Current CPR certification must be valid.
• Active Physical Therapy license in state required.

Responsibilities

• Administer Treatment Plans as developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide non-complex active and passive therapeutic exercises, massage, traction and modalities.
• Document daily/weekly/monthly patient care records and submit paperwork on time.
• Attend educational meetings and contribute to department in-services.
• Notify PT or Executive Director of equipment issues and department changes.
• Schedule patients and perform office tasks.
• Apply infection control and universal precautions during care.
• Accept clinical assignments matching education and competence levels.
• Promote compliance with payors through education and coaching.
