Job summary

University Health Behavioral Health in Kansas City seeks a full-time Licensed Clinical Psychologist Training Supervisor to join our outpatient clinics. The role focuses on supervision, practicum coordination, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, assessment, and consultations within the BH Training Department.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D./Psy.D., Missouri licensure or license-eligibility, at least 2 years of supervision, and a commitment to evidence-based practice and serving diverse

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology with Missouri license or license-eligible.
• At least 2 years of clinical supervision experience with master’s- and/or doctoral-level trainees.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
• Commitment to Evidence-Based Practices.
• Experience with adults (18+) in community mental health or underserved populations.
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Training and experience with DBT is preferred, though not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise trainees and coordinate practicum program.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy.
• Conduct crisis intervention, assessment, and diagnosis.
• Provide consultations and educational presentations.
• Collaborate with Training Director to onboard practicum students.
