Job summary

University Health Behavioral Health in Kansas City outpatient clinics seeks a full-time Licensed Clinical Psychologist Training Supervisor to provide advanced clinical services and supervise trainees.

You will collaborate with the Training Director to onboard practicum students, coordinate the practicum program, deliver psychotherapy including crisis intervention, and contribute to education and evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology and current licensure (or license-eligible) in Missouri.
• At least 2 years of experience providing clinical supervision to master’s- and/or doctoral-level trainees or interns.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills, with the ability to manage data, coordinate processes, and communicate effectively within and outside the organization.
• Demonstrated commitment to the provision and teaching of Evidence-Based Practices.
• Experience working with adults (18+) in community mental health settings and/or serving underserved populations.
• Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Strong understanding of psychological diagnoses and therapies.
• Training and experience with DBT is preferred, though not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise trainees and coordinate practicum program administration.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and psychological assessment.
• Conduct diagnoses and provide consultations across departments.
• Collaborate with Training Director to support onboarding and coordination of practicum students.
• Deliver educational presentations and model high-quality, evidence-based care.
