Job summary

Wander Staffing is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (59 MDW) in San Antonio, Texas. This on-site, W2 position offers $64/hour with credentialing requirements and hospital experience expectations.

Responsibilities include DSM-based diagnoses, clinical interviews, psychological testing, and assisting patients through medical rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited college or university.
• Completion of an APA-accredited psychology internship.
• Additional training is required for psychology specialties.
• Valid, unrestricted license or certification to practice as a psychologist in any of the 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
• Must meet credentialing requirements, including experience and licensure.
• Must have prior experience working in a hospital facility. Experience from other types of healthcare settings will not be accepted.

• Conduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources as appropriate
• Establish psychiatric diagnoses using the DSM
• Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups
• Help medical and surgical patients cope with illnesses or injuries
