Job summary

Wander Staffing is seeking a licensed psychologist for a 100% on-site position at Travis AFB, CA. Candidates must hold a PhD or PsyD from an APA‑accredited program, complete an APA internship, and maintain an unrestricted U.S. license. Hospital experience and credentialing readiness are required.

The duties include psychological evaluations, DSM-based diagnoses, individual and group treatment, and supporting rehabilitation for medical patients under a long‑term government contract.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited program.
• Completion of an APA-accredited psychology internship.
• Additional training is required for psychology specialties.
• Valid, unrestricted license or certification to practice as a psychologist in any of the 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
• Must meet credentialing requirements, including experience and licensure.
• Must have prior experience working in a hospital facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources as appropriate.
• Establish psychiatric diagnoses using the DSM.
• Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups.
• Help medical and surgical patients cope with illnesses or injuries.
• Assist with patient rehabilitation.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Long-term
• Note: The duration of the contract is between the government and Wander Staffing. As with any position, if life requires you to leave, please provide a 60-day notice.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
