Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Psychologist to deliver clinical mental health services within a correctional or detention setting. The role includes supervision of mental health staff and ensuring care aligned with professional standards.

You will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, conduct testing, and provide crisis intervention as needed, working within a multidisciplinary team to support inmates and ensure safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in psychology and experience with mental health delivery systems.
• Licensing as a psychologist in the employment state.
• Experience diagnosing and treating psychological disorders and using assessment instruments.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and consultation services consistent with standards and policies.
• Conduct direct clinical services including diagnosis, therapy, testing, and crisis intervention.
• Ensure ethical practice and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Develop goals for clinical services and assist in staff recruitment.
• Notify relevant personnel of serious incidents and provide staff education as needed.
