The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services seeks a Clinical Psychologist to join the Southern Virginia Mental Health Institute in Danville, VA. You will provide assessment and treatment in a 72-bed state facility, including civilly committed and court-ordered cases, with opportunities for forensic experience.

A $8,000 sign-on bonus is offered for new state service hires who remain with the facility for one year, along with robust state benefits and support resources.

Qualifications

Doctoral degree in psychology.
License in Virginia as Licensed Clinical Psychologist within 1 year of hire.
Proficiency with psych testing instruments.
Strong crisis management skills.
