Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology required.
• Current unrestricted Nebraska license to practice psychology.
• Independent level licensure for diagnostic, assessment, and therapeutic services.
• Minimum of two years of experience with mental health populations.

Responsibilities

• Commits to mission and core values and participates in clinical governance.
• Performs initial and continuing patient assessments with diagnosis.
• Administers and interprets psychological tests.
• Formulates and documents psychological evaluations.
• Develops individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Implements interventions including individual, group, and family therapy; documents outcomes.
• Evaluates patient progress and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Provides crisis counseling and intervention.
• Communicates with family and care team to support treatment.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, social workers, and staff to optimize plans.
• Makes recommendations to management; maintains procedures and compliance.
• Demonstrates fiscal accountability in use of resources.
• Screen prospective patients for admission to Mental Health Services or referrals.
• Provides supervision and training to staff and students as requested.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and staff information.
