Achieve Beyond is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to serve Nassau, NY and surrounding areas. You will conduct evaluations and provide services in homes, schools, and clinics for children with special needs, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support progress.

The role offers flexible scheduling, ongoing supervision, and access to a paperless data system with training. Experience with IEP/IFSP goals is preferred, and licensing requirements in NY are essential.

Job Responsibilities

• Administer Psychological Evaluations in home and/or school based settings.
• Gather necessary information to conduct social histories.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories and submit them in a timely manner.
• Write Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and/or Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) goals.
• Determine need for additional assessments per observation and child needs.
• Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations) and submit records to agency within established deadlines.

Requirements

• Must have a passion for working with children and families!
• Valid NYS Clinical Psychologist license
• Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to:
• Driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.

Starting Rate

Per evaluation $130.00-$350.00

Compensation is determined based on experience and education and will be discussed during the Clinical Psychologist Job interview process.
