Job summary

Tampa General Behavioral Health Hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Clinical Program Therapist in Tampa. You will conduct individual and group therapy, contribute to treatment planning, and collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and case managers to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include family counseling, active communication with referral sources, accurate documentation, and adherence to HIPAA and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, social sciences or related behavioral health field required.
• Experience with psychiatric and chemical dependent patients preferred.
• Current unencumbered clinical license per state of practice guidelines; CPR within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual and group therapy sessions for psychological, emotional, or substance issues.
• Active involvement in the treatment planning process.
• Provides family session counseling to include family members and support groups.
• Communicates with clients, families, and outside referral sources; coordinates with UR and nursing staff.
• Completes all documentation accurately and timely; maintains HIPAA confidentiality and regulations.
