Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Director, Project Management in San Diego (onsite). You will own departmental timelines across Clinical Operations and Clinical Pharmacology, build scalable Smartsheet solutions, and drive integrated program schedules.

The role requires interpreting strategy, managing risks, and delivering timely insights to governance and executives. You will partner with Regulatory, Research, and Development teams to align milestones with program priorities,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, business, project management, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in biotech/pharma, incl. 4+ years in project management for R&D/clinical development.
• Experience planning and managing complex, cross-functional timelines from strategy through execution.
• PM experience supporting Clinical Operations and Clinical Pharmacology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain departmental timelines for Clinical Operations and Clinical Pharmacology across studies.
• Build and administer Smartsheet solutions with integrated schedules and dashboards.
• Translate strategies into executable plans with clear activities, durations, milestones, and dependencies.
• Integrate milestones with program timelines and governance decisions.
• Coordinate with Regulatory, Research, Biometrics, Medical Writing and Programs teams.
• Identify bottlenecks, run scenario planning, and propose acceleration options.
• Facilitate timeline reviews, document decisions, and track risks/issues.
• Maintain risk, issue, action, and decision tracking and provide status updates.
