Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a Clinical Program Manager to lead two vital clinical programs: Burn and Trauma Registry. The role combines clinical leadership with operational management, guiding multidisciplinary teams and driving improvement in care quality and outcomes.
The CPM will oversee registry operations, data management, and reporting to accrediting bodies, while partnering with leadership to align program goals with organizational strategy.
The Clinical Program Manager (CPM) is primarily responsible for providing innovative leadership and management of clinical and select administrative operations. The CPM will work across disciplines to develop, support, implement and evaluate effective care strategies to improve health outcomes. They will also demonstrate the ability to provide strong and consistent direction for direct reports in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating program operations. This position is responsible for duties that include but are not limited to the following: to maintain the program to meet all national standards and requirements of accrediting organizations including collection and reporting of data, to conduct an annual program evaluation and provide reports as designated, supporting communications activities, serving as the program representative at meetings, and establishing and maintaining partnerships to advance the program, and to maintain shared fiscal accountability with program leadership.

This unique role combines clinical program leadership with operational management, supporting multidisciplinary teams that advance high-quality pediatric burn and trauma care across the organization.
Children's Hospital Colorado is home to two trauma centers: the Anschutz Medical Campus, an American College of Surgeons (ACS) Level I Verified Pediatric Trauma Center, and CHCO Colorado Springs Hospital, a Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) designated Level II Trauma Center.
The Clinical Program Manager oversees the Trauma Registry and Administrative team, including trauma registrars, the Senior Management Analyst, and the Trauma Program Coordinator. The role is responsible for registry operations, trauma data management and analysis, and oversight of Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) data submission and reporting to the ACS.
The Clinical Program Manager provides programmatic and clinical leadership for the multidisciplinary burn team, including nurses, medical assistants, and injury prevention staff. In partnership with the Burn Medical Director, the manager leads program development, advances evidence-based practice, supports regulatory and accreditation readiness, and drives continuous improvement in burn patient outcomes across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
