SOME (So Others Might Eat) provides material aid and comfort to our vulnerable neighbors in the District of Columbia, helping them to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness through programs and services that save lives, improve lives, and help to transform the lives of individuals and families, their communities, and the systems and structures that affect them. Our more than 30 programs throughout the district provide comprehensive services that lead to mental and physical health, continued sobriety, job training, living-wage employment, and affordable housing. We meet immediate needs with food, clothing, and healthcare and offer the tools one needs to live with hope, dignity, and greater independence.
Compensation: We offer our employees a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects our organizational culture, mission, and core values. The salary range for this position is $78,644 to $83,199 and may commensurate with experience.
SOME (So Others Might Eat) is currently seeking a full-time Clinical Social Work Program Manager for our Senior Services department.
Position Description: The Clinical Social Work Program Manager provides program and administrative oversight of Kuehner Place, SOME's 7-bed transitional housing program for older adults experiencing homelessness. Manages intake, enrollment, and intensive case management processes for prospective and current program participants. Participates as an active member of the clinical care team and provides clinical support and consultation to Kuehner House and Karin House residents and staff. Independently supervises night and front desk monitors, clinical interns.
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00 am-4:30 pm (40 hours a week)
Required: Master of Social Work (MSW) and be licensed in the District (LGSW or LICSW) 2+ years of previous case management experience with senior and/or at-risk populations.
Preferred: Masters Degree in Social Work; 5-7 years experience providing services to seniors and low-income populations; 2-3 years of case management experience; previous experience providing services in an interdisciplinary care team.
Required License/Certification: CPR/First Aid, AED, Driver's License, LGSW, or LICSW by the District of Columbia.
