The University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics and UVA Health Children's invite applications for the position of Medical Director, Pediatric Liver Transplant Program, to lead a growing team in Charlottesville, VA.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative, nationally recognized team in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition, with opportunities for academic advancement and program development.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required with board certification/eligibility in pediatric gastroenterology.
• Certification in Pediatric Transplant Hepatology preferred.
• Open ranks: Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor; tenure or non-tenure tracks.
• Leadership in clinical program development and quality oversight.

Responsabilités

• Provide medical leadership for UVA Health Children's Pediatric Liver Transplant Program.
• Oversee clinical quality metrics, outcomes, and regulatory activities.
• Develop growth initiatives, outreach, and research infrastructure.
• Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
