Qualifications

• MD, DO (or foreign equivalent) required.
• Completion of 4th year training in heart failure and transplant required.
• Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Cardiology; licensed or eligible in WA.

Responsibilities

• Manage acute decompensated heart failure, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, VADs and ECMO.
• Read and interpret transthoracic echocardiography.
• Collaborate with surgeons, critical care, nurses, social workers and pharmacists.
• Provide patient care across outpatient and inpatient settings; participate in teaching.
• Engage in quality improvement and contribute to education and research.
