Responsibilities

• Triages patient calls using established guidelines to identify health problems.
• Administers prescribed medications.
• Provides education to patients in response to identified needs.
• Documents health information and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
• Delegates patient care activities using the five rights and provides feedback.
• Applies nursing process to make sound clinical judgments.
• Completes practice-specific clinical skill competencies annually.
