Job summary

Care New England is seeking a Clinical Practice Manager/Clinical Nurse Specialist (CPM/CNS) to model excellent clinical nursing, lead education activities, and collaborate with nursing leadership to improve patient care quality and outcomes.

The role requires advancing education programs, overseeing orientation, and aligning with organizational goals while ensuring staff development and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in healthcare field required.
• Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; MSN degree preferred.
• Current licensure in Rhode Island and specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical nursing excellence and serves as a model for nursing staff.
• Lead and coordinate orientation and ongoing education for nursing and support staff.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to improve care quality and patient outcomes.
• Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate professional development and education activities.
• Promote evidence-based practice and involvement in research initiatives.
