Job summary

Women & Infants Hospital seeks a Clinical Practice Manager/Clinical Nurse Specialist (CPM/CNS) to model clinical excellence, educate staff, and drive development of nursing practice. The role partners with nursing leadership to plan, implement, and evaluate education, ensure patient safety, and advance evidence-based care across units.

Responsibilities include orientation, research participation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in healthcare required.
• Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) preferred.
• BSN with work-in-progress toward MSN degree will be considered.
• Certification in specialty area required or must be achieved within first year.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in clinical care and assessment of all patient populations.
• Leads orientation programs for nursing and clinical support staff.
• Collaborates with nurse directors/managers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Participates in policy development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provides nurse-to-nurse consultation and education for staff.
