University of North Carolina at Pembroke is seeking a student support professional to guide teacher candidates through program progression and field experiences. You will monitor milestones and coordinate orientations while collaborating with faculty and advisors to promote retention and timely graduation.

You will provide individualized guidance on professional expectations, program requirements, and career readiness, connecting students with tutoring, counseling, and financial aid resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; three years of professional experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with students, faculty, and district partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive).

Minimum Training and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, minimum of three years of professional experience.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with students, faculty, and school district partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. (Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Management Preference
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Hold a valid teaching license.
  • Knowledge of educator preparation programs, clinical experiences, and teacher licensure processes, and student information systems.
  • Experience coordinating placements.
  • Knowledge of NC state educator licensure requirements
