Job summary

FVI School of Nursing and Technology is seeking a detail-oriented Coordinator to manage student clinical placements across Miami and Miramar campuses. The role involves assigning students to sites, tracking hours, and coordinating with partners via email, Teams, and multiple placement systems.

You will maintain schedules, ensure compliance with ACEN standards, and provide ongoing support to students and faculty.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• 3+ years coordinating or related administrative clerical support.
• Extensive computer knowledge: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with data entry, record-keeping and compliance.
• Professional level verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student clinical placements and assign to sites.
• Submit, monitor, and track placements through multiple systems.
• Match students to sites based on requirements and capacity.
• Maintain and update clinical schedules and rotations.
• Monitor student clinical hours and participation records.
• Communicate with clinical partners via email, phone, and Teams.
• Prepare and submit required clinical documentation electronically.
• Maintain electronic placement records and site information.
• Identify and resolve placement, onboarding, and compliance issues.
• Coordinate faculty clinical assignments and site details.
• Provide students with assignment information and ongoing virtual support.
• Collaborate with the clinical coordination team on orientations.
• Monitor clearance requirements and communicate outstanding items.
• Maintain updated records and tracking reports for nursing leadership.
