Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care, teach, and participate in departmental process improvement. You will serve as a role model, collaborating with PT/PTA teams to optimize patient outcomes and service delivery.

Responsibilities include applying evidence-based treatments, documenting progress in the EMR, and supporting committees and educational activities to advance department goals and patient care quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in State of Illinois
• BLS from American Heart Association upon hire
• Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates NM values (teamwork, patients first, integrity, excellence) in daily work.
• Maintains professional demeanor and assists patients and customers with information and directions.
• Collaborates with treating PT/PTA to manage patient plans of care and documentation.
• Contributes to continuous improvement and cost-reduction efforts within the department.
