Job summary

MedStar Health in Bethesda area seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join MHPT at Chevy Chase North. You will perform comprehensive PT evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and discharge planning while engaging patients and families from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Maryland/DC/VA licensure required as deemed necessary for location(s).
• Licensed Physical Therapist with professional competency in general practice in PT.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation services including history review, assessments, and documenting results; explains findings to patient and family.
• Implements treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and patient presentation; collaborates with other professionals.
• Completes discharge planning and ensures accurate documentation and billing for care.
• Manages time effectively and maintains an organized schedule to meet productivity goals.
• Mentors students and assists with orientation/mentoring of staff, volunteers, and technicians.
