Qualifications

• Graduate of CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Education program.
• Licensure is required in every US State and Territory the Therapist is practicing.
• Maintains BLS certification; American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of license and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate patient condition and establish goals in collaboration with patient and family and treatment team.
• Develop written treatment plans and revise as needed; delegate tasks to PT assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Document patient status and progress per internal/external standards and reimbursement guidelines.
• Communicate with others to integrate physical therapy with all aspects of patient care.
• Participate in meetings, training, and program development to support departmental goals.
