Virtua Health Physical Therapist provides examination and evaluation to determine prognosis, intervenes, and updates the plan of care. Works with manager to improve clinical operations and utilization of rehab services.

Collaborates with medical and team members to ensure high-quality patient care, maintains timely documentation, educates patients and families, and adheres to regulatory guidelines. Requires NJ licensure and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy accredited by the APTA.
• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
• CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Consults with medical, ancillary professionals and other team members to provide optimum quality patient care and effective operations.
• Demonstrates comprehensive evaluation skills and interventions; evaluates effectiveness and modifies plan of care as appropriate.
• Maintains and completes evaluations, patient records, reports and documentation per guidelines.
• Effectively utilizes PTAs, aides and other support staff.
• Communicates with patient and family in education and literature per age, condition and cultural needs.
