Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree and PA licensure issued by the State Board of Physical Therapy.
• Master of Science degree is preferred.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates the patient's history and extracts precautions, contraindications, diagnoses, goals, and pertinent information for treatment.
• Develops treatment goals and plans within the physician's prescription.
• Supervises physical therapy assistants or aides in treatment procedures.
• Coordinates treatment plan with patient, family, and treatment team.
• Maintains documentation in patient records and participates in discharge planning.
