Job summary

OMRF's Rheumatology Center of Excellence seeks a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant to perform specimen collection, clinical duties, and administrative tasks. The role includes EMR documentation, POC testing, vital signs, medication recording, and coordinating care.

Working hours are typically Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM in Oklahoma City. Relocation assistance is available within 50 miles of the metro.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 months of relevant experience.
• Detail-oriented, organized, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and compassionate patient care.
• Ability to multitask and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood, urine, and other samples and prepare them for analysis.
• Record test information, orders, and patient data in EMR.
• Perform POC testing for CLIA-waived tests.
• Obtain vitals, document allergies, and assist with patient care.
• Answer calls, manage charts, billing, and coordination between care teams.
