Altasciences in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Operations team in IP/NIP handling for clinical trials, ensuring compliance with study protocols, GCP and SOPs. You will perform reception, labeling, storage, dispensing, shipping, accountability and inventory tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with experience as a certified pharmacy assistant, strong computer literacy, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required with experience as a certified pharmacy assistant.
• Compounding and aseptic technique a plus.
• Must have experience with Microsoft suite and strong computer literacy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform reception, labeling, storage, dispensing, shipping, accountability and inventory of IP/NIPs.
• Ensure IP materials are purchased and/or on-site before trial initiation.
• Comply with blinding and randomization when handling IPs.
• Resolve pharmacy-related queries in a timely manner.
• Assist in sponsor/regulatory audits.
• May participate in revising pharmacy SOPs.
• Communicate issues and resolutions to supervisors and managers.
• Coordinate training on dosing procedures as required by location.
• Maintain confidentiality of participants and sponsors.
• Maintain high level of customer service within the department.
• Maintain and audit pharmacy maintenance logs (temperature, cleaning, calibration).
