Job summary

Accel Research Sites is seeking a Pharmacy Tech for the Kansas City location to prepare and dispense investigational medications in strict compliance with GCP, ICH, HIPAA, FDA, USP 797/800, and state boards. The role supports site staff and subjects with accurate drug information and safe handling of study drugs.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree and a valid CPhT credential, with 1+ years of related experience; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree and 1+ years’ related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential is required.
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense investigational medications following regulatory standards.
Coordinate drug distribution services for investigational medications to site staff.
Identify resource needs and redeploy resources as needed to meet study requirements.
Dispense investigational medications and provide drug-related information to subjects and site staff.
Maintain inventory records and proper storage conditions for investigational drugs.
Promote staff development and provide mentorship as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
