Requirements:

  • Must Have Open Availability
  • Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
  • Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent or 17 years of age and enrolled in a Board-approved high school technician training program in Ohio
  • Lifting Requirements: Up to 25 pounds
  • Certification Required: Pharmacy Technician Trainee, if applicable by state
  • Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age, or 17 years of age and enrolled in a Board-approved high school technician training program in Ohio

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with outgoing and incoming clinical call initiatives and data entry support for all retail locations.
  • Execute Medication Therapy Management (MTM) using appropriate platforms.
  • Follow best practices for workflow, patient contact, scheduling, and data entry.
  • Use pharmacy computer systems to ensure accurate and safe patient care, including data entry and prescription management.
  • Perform follow-up adherence calls to promote medication compliance.
  • Document all actions properly within the platform to ensure reimbursement, safety, and seamless patient management.
  • Adhere to all company, state, and federal policies, including HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and compliant work environment.
  • Monitor service and business metrics, contributing to improvement plans.
  • Report errors, omissions, and incidents to the pharmacist.
  • Handle prescription updates, billing, and insurance issues accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with team members via verbal, phone, and email communication.
  • Complete daily and weekly reports and paperwork.
  • Provide excellent customer service and know when to consult a pharmacist for assistance.
