Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist licensed pharmacists in ensuring smooth and accurate pharmacy operations.

You will review refill requests, assist with dispensing medications, and maintain equipment and inventory in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Responsibilities include gathering patient information, answering basic inquiries, maintaining supplies, and supporting delivery scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to policies and procedures.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications & supplies.
• Assist with maintaining equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing, and reporting defects.
• Collect & maintain basic patient information required to plan materials, equipment and prescriptions.
• Help ensure a positive patient experience by answering basic patient questions and requests.
• Receive & verify quantities of incoming supplies & materials.
• Stocks & stores new supplies & materials; review expiration dates and shortages.
• Schedule routine patient deliveries.
• Clean & sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows; organize supplies.
