Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is the nation’s largest home infusion and alternate site infusion services provider in the United States.

Under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, this role assists with ensuring smooth and accurate pharmacy operations in accordance with Option Care Health policies & procedures and state regulations. Responsibilities include prescription processing, equipment prep, patient support, inventory management and site cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–6 months of relevant experience.
• Licensed or registered within 6 months of hire (if required by state).
• Successful enrollment and completion of the OCH designated training course within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription refills per policy.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing, and report defects.
• Collect and maintain patient information for planning materials and prescriptions.
• Answer patient questions to support a positive experience.
• Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies.
• Stock and store new supplies.
• Schedule routine patient deliveries.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows.
