Job summary

Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to provide comprehensive pharmacotherapy care within the specialty area, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and help develop and implement evidence-based drug therapy protocols.

The position requires a PharmD from an ACPE-accredited school, eligibility for Florida pharmacist licensure, and ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency (PGY2 or 3–4 years of experience preferred).

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) from ACPE-accredited school.
• Eligible for Florida Pharmacist license.
• Board certification in area of specialty preferred.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency completed (PGY2 or 3–4 years of experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in multidisciplinary rounds and provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care.
• Develops, implements, and assesses evidence-based pharmacotherapy protocols.
• Educates pharmacy staff, physicians, nurses, and other team members on pharmacotherapy topics.
• Identifies opportunities to minimize drug costs and improve patient outcomes.
• Participates in quality improvement and pharmacotherapy research.
