Abrazo Arrowhead Campus Hospital in Glendale, AZ, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to lead clinical pharmacy services, optimize pharmacotherapy, and educate staff and students. Under the Director of Pharmacy, you will participate in critical care rounds and develop cost-effective, evidence-based practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration with medical, nursing, and pharmacy teams, drug information provision, and mentoring future pharmacists.

Qualifications

• Requires a Pharmacist license in the State of Arizona.
• Pharmacy practice residency or equivalent clinical experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree is preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Participates in critical care rounds and reviews clinical opportunities in acute care areas.
• Optimizes drug therapy and contributes to cost-effective medication use.
• Provides drug information and in-service education to medical, nursing and pharmacy staff.
• Assists with development and implementation of drug and disease management protocols.
• Precepts pharmacy students and participates in education activities.
