Job summary

Tenet Healthcare through Abrazo Central Hospital seeks a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to develop and evaluate clinical pharmacy services, educate staff, and participate in patient care decisions. You will help optimize therapy in critical care, collaborate on protocols, and mentor students and staff.

Qualifications

Pharmacy degree required; licensure in AZ is required.
Pharmacy practice residency or clinical experience preferred.
Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred; ACLS/BCPS certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Participates in critical care rounds and optimizes drug therapy.
Develops and applies evidence-based pharmacotherapy protocols.
Provides education to medical, nursing and pharmacy staff on clinical initiatives.
Precepts pharmacy students and mentors staff pharmacists.
