Job summary

The pharmacy resident will provide evidence-based, collaborative, patient-centered care under the supervision of a preceptor. The resident will be a self-directed, motivated learner as guided by the Residency Program Director and preceptors, and will conduct projects to improve patient care and evaluate the sustainability of pharmacy services.

This position is at SouthWire in Carrollton, Georgia. One Pharmacy resident position is available for one year beginning July 1, 2024, through June 30,

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Eligible for licensure as a Pharmacist in the State of Georgia.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote, manage, schedule, and conduct clinical services in the pharmacy and/or site clinic.
• Develop a research initiative at the community pharmacy practice site.
• Dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on medications.
• Assist with teaching opportunities at the College of Pharmacy.
