Job summary

WellStar Health System seeks a Clinical Pharmacy Manager to lead and coordinate hospital clinical pharmacy services, supervise pharmacists and residents, and drive programs for improved patient outcomes and cost-effective care.

The role requires leadership, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with medical staff to implement therapeutic strategies and education across the Pharmacy Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited School/College of Pharmacy required or PharmD is preferred.
• Completion of a Pharmacy Residency Program
• RPH - Reg Pharmacist license required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the clinical pharmacy program for the WellStar Hospital.
• Develop and implement new clinical pharmacy programs to enhance patient care.
• Train/educate pharmacists in clinical pharmacy practice including nutritional support and anticoagulation management.
• Interface with Medical Staff and committees on clinical pharmacy topics.
