Job summary

Shields Health Solutions seeks an experienced pharmacy technician to join a fast-growing specialty pharmacy management team. You will provide comprehensive medication management services, work within a clinic team, and support patients, clinicians, and staff in person and by phone.

Requirements include state-registered pharmacy technician status, 2 years’ experience (3–5 preferred), and strong computer skills with MS Office. Salary ranges from $55,000 to $60,000 per year.

Qualifications

• State registration as a pharmacy technician is required or in progress.
• 2 years of pharmacy technician experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• National certification (CPhT) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full suite of medication management services to hospital patients.
• Work with clinicians and patients face-to-face and by phone.
• Resolve insurance issues, obtain prior authorizations, and assist with financial aid.
• Maintain documentation in required systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Support operational improvements and collaborate with the clinic team.
